The Role The Talent Acquisition Director serves as a strategic business partner to executive leadership (C-suite and subsidiary CEOs), aligning the Group's long-term business objectives with a robust talent pipeline strategy. This role requires a unique blend of corporate strategic foresight, hands-on leadership for executive sourcing, and oversight of agile mass-hiring engines for extensive retail and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with Group Executives and Subsidiary Leadership to forecast future workforce capabilities, identifying talent gaps across the Brand, Retail, and Tech pillars.
    • Design and execute localized and global sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber leadership, specialized tech talents, and operational experts.
    • Manage and optimize the multi-million dollar annual talent acquisition budget, ensuring optimal ROI across channels.
    • Lead, mentor, and upskill a high-performing team of TA Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators across different business lines.
    • Foster a culture of speed, accountability, and customer-centricity within the recruitment team.
    • Standardize best-in-class assessment frameworks, interview guidelines, and compliance standards across the entire Group.
    • Accelerate the digital transformation of the recruitment function by optimizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), AI-sourcing tools, and predictive data analytics.
    • Establish and report on critical data metrics to the Board: Time-to-Fill, Quality-of-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, and Offer Acceptance Rates.
    • Utilize competitive intelligence and talent mapping to advise line managers on shifting labor market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, and availability.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to elevate the Group's employer brand both domestically and internationally.
    • Oversee high-impact early career pipelines and flagship graduate programs, including the Group's highly competitive Management Trainee and Graduate Engineer tracks.
    • Build deep strategic partnerships with top-tier domestic and global universities, technical institutes, and alumni networks.
    • Ensure a premium, seamless, and transparent interview experience for all candidates, reflecting the Group's core value of honoring talent.
    • Refine the transition between the selection stage and the pre-onboarding stage to safeguard high retention rates from Day 1.

Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive HR/Recruitment experience, with at least 5 years in a Head of TA or TA Director role overseeing large-scale organizations (conglomerates, FMCG, retail, tech, or hyper-growth matrices).
    • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record managing both highly specialized corporate/tech recruitment and high-volume mass hiring requirements.
    • Skills & Competencies: Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate business data into actionable workforce strategies.
