Supply Chain Director (Open to Global Talent)

The Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations across Production Material Control (PMC), Order Processing & Delivery (OPD), and Supplier Management. This role ensures delivery stability, cost competitiveness, inventory optimization, and operational excellence, while aligning regional demand with supply capabilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead production planning, material planning, and inventory control to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.
    • Drive demand and supply alignment with regional teams (EMEA, Americas, APAC).
    • Manage capacity planning, risk mitigation, and shortage recovery.
    • Ensure system-based planning (ERP/MRP) accuracy and discipline.
    • Oversee order management, shipment planning, and delivery execution.
    • Ensure high OTD (On-Time Delivery) and customer satisfaction.
    • Drive logistics optimization and lead time reduction.
    • Manage exceptions, backlog recovery, and urgent delivery coordination.
    • Own supplier delivery performance, capacity commitment, and risk control.
    • Drive supplier accountability on OTD, quality, and responsiveness.
    • Lead shortage escalation, decommit management, and recovery plans.
    • Partner with sourcing teams on supplier strategy, localization, and cost optimization.
    • Act as a key interface between Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regional Teams.
    • Ensure alignment on NPI (New Product Introduction), demand changes, and supply risks.
    • Support business decisions with data-driven analysis and scenario planning.
    • Drive standardization and digitalization of supply chain processes (e.g., ERP, Power BI, automation tools).
    • Improve planning accuracy, visibility, and responsiveness.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across PMC and OPD functions.
    • Define and manage key KPIs: OTD (On-Time Delivery), Inventory (DOH / WOS), Schedule Attainment, and Supplier OTD.
    • Drive accountability and a high-performance culture across teams.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of supply chain experience, with leadership roles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Strong experience in PMC, production planning, and supplier management.
    • Proven track record in complex, multi-region supply chain operations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle / SAP preferred).
