As a Senior Talent Management Manager at the Group/Holding level of a multi-industry conglomerate, you will act as a Strategic Architect and Ecosystem Enabler. Unlike roles focused on day-to-day business execution, this role is responsible for shaping the overarching talent strategy, establishing group-wide governance standards, driving cross-entity talent mobility, and building a robust executive pipeline to empower the ecosystem’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

    • Align Ecosystem Talent Strategy: Design and execute a holistic Group Talent Strategy that directly supports the Conglomerate’s long-term strategic vision and transformation agendas.
    • Establish Governance & Standards: Develop, implement, and maintain group-wide talent policies and frameworks, including Group Executive Competency Frameworks, Unified Talent Review & Calibration Processes, and Group Performance Management Frameworks (OKRs/KPIs).
    • Executive Talent Pool Management: Direct, track, evaluate, and develop the High-Potential (HiPo) talent pipeline at the Director level and above across all operating companies (OpCos).
    • Group Succession Planning: Build and continuously update succession maps for key strategic roles at Group HQ and C-suite/Managing Director levels across OpCos.
    • Ecosystem Mobility Mechanisms: Establish policies and frameworks that facilitate smooth talent movement across business units (e.g., FMCG, Retail, F&B, Tech) to optimize human capital allocation and address executive talent gaps.
    • Multi-Dimensional Career Pathways: Design cross-functional and cross-entity career paths to provide key leaders with diverse ecosystem exposure, preparing them for future conglomerate-level leadership.
    • Young Leadership Initiatives: Lead the strategy, design, and execution of flagship Group-level talent programs (e.g., Management Trainee, Young Executive Programs).
    • Group Employer Value Proposition (EVP): Drive the Group-level Employer Branding strategy to attract top-tier executive, international, and tech talent to the entire ecosystem.
    • Group Leadership Academy/Initiatives: Design strategic leadership capability programs focusing on executive management, strategic thinking, and transformation leadership.
    • Embed Group Culture DNA: Ensure core corporate values are seamlessly integrated into talent assessment, development, and recognition processes across all operating subsidiaries.
    • Group Talent Dashboard: Own centralized talent data and deliver actionable insights (e.g., Talent Pipeline Health, HiPo Retention, Succession Readiness) to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
    • Governance & Transparency: Oversee OpCo talent evaluation cycles to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with Group-wide benchmarks.

Requirements

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related fields.
    • Professional Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR/Talent Management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or strategic talent role within large-scale conglomerates, multi-entity corporations, or top-tier HR/Management Consultancies.
    • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in designing and implementing group-wide talent strategies, succession planning, and executive development frameworks.
    • Strategic Architect Mindset: Ability to translate high-level corporate strategies into scalable human capital solutions.
    • Ecosystem Perspective: Deep understanding of managing talent dynamics in a complex, multi-industry environment.
    • Executive Stakeholder Management: Outstanding communication, influencing, and consulting skills to engage effectively with C-suite executives and OpCo leaders.
    • Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong capability in talent analytics, workforce insights, and data-backed decision-making.
    • Change Leadership & Cultural Agility: High adaptability with a proven ability to drive change initiatives across diverse corporate cultures.
