Our client, a Tier-1 Global Professional Services Network with over three decades of legacy in Vietnam, is seeking a full-time, on-site Information Technology Audit Manager to join their established team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this dynamic leadership position, you will drive technology risk engagements, evaluating digital assets and internal systems for a premium portfolio of local and multinational companies. You will serve as a trusted advisor on tech compliance, manage high-performing audit teams, and help secure client operations against evolving digital threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Execution: Lead the end-to-end delivery of comprehensive IT audit projects, overseeing initial scoping, strategic planning, risk assessment, control testing, and executive reporting.
- Security & Compliance Review: Evaluate the integrity of complex IT infrastructure, application environments, and corporate cybersecurity frameworks to ensure full alignment with regulatory mandates and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and coach junior audit professionals, driving high performance and fostering a culture of continuous technical growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate smoothly with firm directors, internal leadership, and external client stakeholders to report critical findings and deliver strategic advice.
- Practice Innovation: Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal risk management methodologies, technology audit tools, and frameworks.
- Commercial Growth: Support corporate business development activities, assist in drafting commercial proposals, and offer proactive client insights regarding emerging tech trends.
Requirements
- Technical Mastery: Proven track record in IT auditing and systems control verification, with the capacity to deliver top-tier, high-quality technology assurance engagements.
- Risk & Security Expertise: Strong proficiency in corporate IT risk management and data security principles to properly evaluate digital protective measures.
- Education: A relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related technical discipline.
- Professional Certifications: Holding an industry-standard credential such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent designation is highly preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated capability in overseeing audit teams, guiding junior staff members, and handling professional client relationships.
- Framework Knowledge: Solid comprehension of modern IT governance frameworks, global information security standards, and local/international compliance demands.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical capacity, structured problem-solving skills, and articulate communication to translate complex technology matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mobility: Readiness to work full-time on-site at the Ho Chi Minh City office, with the flexibility to travel as needed for localized client engagements.
