We are seeking a visionary, hands-on, and field-oriented Country HR Manager who can serve as the primary architect of the entire HR function. The ideal candidate will design the overarching People Strategy, establish core HR operations from zero, build realistic job personas across diverse operational environments (office, sales, and cold-chain warehousing), and architect a level-based compensation framework to drive corporate efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, draft, and implement the enterprise's inaugural HR framework, core policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks from scratch across all business units.
- Establish foundational HR operational infrastructure, automated workflow systems, and compliant C&B processes in strict alignment with Vietnamese Labor Law.
- Conduct hands-on field assessments at operational sites (cold-chain warehouses, logistics hubs) to understand actual working conditions and design site-specific operational regulations.
- Formulate the company’s long-term People Strategy aligned directly with executive business goals and growth targets.
- Build clear Job Architectures, Grading Frameworks, and precise Job Personas tailored for specialized functions (e.g., cold-storage frontline labor vs. commercial teams vs. corporate roles).
- Structure a competitive Level-Based Offer & Total Rewards strategy, incorporating specific allowance schemes (cold-storage conditions, shift differentials) to attract and retain specialized talent.
- Architect and launch the company’s first Performance Management System (KPIs/OKRs), setting objective evaluation criteria across all job levels.
- Design tailored Talent Acquisition strategies and recruitment pipelines for frontline workers, specialized technical staff, sales forces, and management tiers.
- Establish foundational Onboarding, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and workforce capability-building programs.
- Architect and launch the company’s first Performance Management System (KPIs/OKRs), setting objective evaluation criteria across all job levels.
- Design tailored Talent Acquisition strategies and recruitment pipelines for frontline workers, specialized technical staff, sales forces, and management tiers.
- Establish foundational Onboarding, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and workforce capability-building programs.
- Act as a key strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing proactive insights and data-backed people solutions before operational bottlenecks escalate.
- Shape, define, and cultivate a professional, transparent, and high-performance company culture in an organization transitioning into structured management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager, Head of HR, or Country HR Director. Must have direct experience in building HR systems/functions from scratch (Greenfield projects) or leading ground-up HR transformation in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Cold Chain Logistics, Warehousing, or Multi-site Distribution.
- Fluent in English (Advanced Business Proficiency in speaking, writing, and presenting) for strategic alignment with Executive Board members and international partners.
- Strong capability to design policies, grading systems, job frameworks, and C&B structures from zero without relying on pre-existing templates.
- High willingness to engage directly with frontline operations (warehouses, supply chain, regional hubs) to grasp operational realities.
- Deep understanding of operational job dynamics, labor laws, physical work environment demands, and level-based offer structuring.
- Proactive attitude, strong initiative, sharp observational skills, high resilience in unstructured environments, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
