As the Head of Center of Excellence (CoE), you will spearhead the Total Rewards & HR Operations strategy, focusing on enhancing workforce engagement and motivation through equitable pay management. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with profound expertise in Total Rewards, HR Operations, and a demonstrated history of success in large-scale businesses within competitive labor markets. You will drive best practices and standardized processes across the organization, creating robust solutions to address fundamental people management needs and common challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive reward strategies, including salary benchmarking, pension plans, benefits management, and annual compensation cycles (bonus, salary reviews).
- Design compensation and benefit strategies to drive growth, attract/retain talent, optimize the workforce, and boost productivity.
- Manage pay level identification through market surveys and analysis of the current company situation.
- Establish appropriate pay level strategies aligned with company policy.
- Oversee pay mix management, determining the optimal ratio of fixed pay, variable pay, and benefits.
- Manage the determination of pay structures, considering exempt, non-exempt, and job grade classifications.
- Develop and enhance HR procedures, providing coaching to team members.
- Stay updated on the latest market knowledge, including tax implications for benefits and pay.
- Design and implement relevant and intuitive compensation schemes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit programs, ensuring market competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, alignment with corporate goals, and compliance.
- Review and monitor Total Rewards policies, recommending revisions and new cost-effective plans.
- Develop and manage the job architecture (analysis, evaluation, families), market research, benchmarking, base salary/wage pay scales, bonus programs, and non-cash incentive programs.
- Oversee employee benefit plan design, pricing, communication, and enrollments.
- Drive HR innovations and best practices within the CoE for continuous improvement.
- Ensure HR strategies are closely aligned with overall business objectives.
- Establish KPIs to measure the CoE's impact and report on metrics for data-driven improvements.
- Engage leaders and stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for the HR CoE vision and initiatives.
- Supervise overall General Affairs (GA) services, including Facility Management, outsourced personnel services, and relocation services (visa, work permits, accommodation).
- Manage vendor relationships for GA services.
- Oversee and monitor GA administration against established standards, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Develop and monitor annual employee expense and capital asset plans, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop policies and plans for material usage.
- Ensure workplace safety and health management and education.
- Manage and develop the GA team to be proactive and analytical in providing policy advice and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive CoE leadership experience in a large-scale MNC.
- Proven track record of leading Total Reward strategy and exceeding targets in highly competitive markets.
- Strategic thinking ability with adaptability to fast-moving organizations.
- Strong business acumen and proactive risk identification/mitigation skills.
