Deputy Talent Acquisition Director

Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Director, the Deputy Talent Acquisition Director serves as an operational lead and key strategic enabler in executing the Group’s workforce strategies. This role bridges strategic planning and day-to-day talent acquisition operations, ensuring smooth execution across executive/specialized sourcing as well as high-volume mass hiring engines for retail and manufacturing facilities across the Group’s ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

    • Partner closely with Department Heads, Line Managers, and Subsidiary HR teams to translate headcount plans into actionable, timeline-driven recruitment strategies.
    • Lead and oversee the execution of sourcing strategies for specialized corporate/tech talent as well as high-volume hiring drives for retail and operational facilities.
    • Monitor day-to-day recruitment operations, ensuring SLA adherence, quality of hire, and pipeline health.
    • Assist the TA Director in managing and tracking the annual TA budget, ensuring cost efficiency across channels and agencies.
    • Directly manage, mentor, and upskill a team of TA Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators across multiple business units.
    • Drive a high-performance culture focused on agility, accountability, and customer-centric service to internal hiring managers.
    • Step in to support or lead complex, high-visibility executive search assignments as designated by the TA Director.
    • Standardize and drive adoption of group-wide assessment frameworks, interview guidelines, and compliance standards.
    • Supervise the daily utilization and optimization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), AI sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.
    • Track and report key recruitment metrics to the TA Director and senior stakeholders: Time-to-Fill, Quality-of-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, and Offer Acceptance Rates.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to execute employer branding campaigns and campus activation strategies.
    • Oversee the operational rollout of flagship graduate programs, including Management Trainee and Graduate Engineer tracks.
    • Maintain active partnerships with key domestic universities, technical institutes, and recruitment partners.
    • Ensure a smooth, professional, and candidate-centric hiring journey across all business units.
    • Refine the pre-onboarding transition to minimize drop-off rates and improve candidate engagement prior to Day 1.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR/Recruitment experience.
    • At least 3+ years in a managerial role (e.g., Senior TA Manager or Head of TA in a mid-to-large business unit).
    • Proven experience handling both specialized professional recruitment and mass hiring requirements within FMCG, Retail, Tech, or Conglomerate matrix environments.
    • Strong execution capability with a data-informed approach to solving recruitment bottlenecks.
    • Solid interpersonal presence with the ability to collaborate effectively with, influence, and align Department Heads and Line Managers.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and matrixed corporate environment.
    • Native fluency in Vietnamese and professional mastery of English (written and verbal).
